Candid wedding photography with Isabelle and James at Harleyford Golf Club

Isabelle and James had the most wonderful wedding surrounded by friends and family and it was an absolute dream to be able to tell their story with wedding photography.

We started the day at Isabelle’s family home capturing those tender family moments over a pre-wedding sushi lunch! For a late September wedding we got extremely lucky with beautiful sunshine and managed to capture dad’s first look in the garden which was wonderful.

Her absolutely stunning gown was from Brides of Berkhampsted and she glittered as she wondered out into the September sunshine to a classic car surprise that her Dad had booked for them to get to the church.

From the moment Isabelle and James saw each other in St Pauls Church in Wooburn Green it was magnetic. The smiles got bigger, the tears fell faster and it was just a magical moment. They left to epic clouds of confetti from happy guests on their first journey as Mr & Mrs.

The reception was held at Harleyford Golf Club which was particularly special to them and it provided the perfect party backdrop. Rolling golf courses gave us the perfect location to grab those perfect portraits for the happy couple without taking them too far away from their party and we were back in time for the maid of honour to recite a poem that was so beautifully written and crafted by her with humour and sentiment that it brought me to tears.

I almost forgot to mention that prior to the party we had an epic bouquet toss (the maid of honour’s was thrown of course. No one is tossing those beautiful bouquets anymore!) The flowers were by Flowers by Elizabeth.

It was such a wholesome and beautiful wedding and it was an absolute honour to capture it and spend time with the lovely couple.
