A Bristol Wedding for Kirst & Matt at The Mount Without

If you’ve never been to The Mount Without in Bristol before then I highly recommend a visit. From the second you walk in it’s got magic in the walls. Effectively an abandoned church that’s been hollowed out, it has casual grandeur that doesn’t make it feel like you’re about to meet the queen but glad you put on some fancy shoes and brushed your hair.

It was the perfect backdrop for Kirst and Matt’s South African fusion wedding. The sun was shining, the lawn games were competitive and the ceremony was personalised and beautiful, it was the perfect collection of things that make weddings beautiful.

Fast forward to the party and we headed downstairs to the crypt where the bodies had literally been removed to give it an epic nightclub feel. (Sounds weird and creepy but I promise once you get over the initial ‘ick’ and the music starts, it’s all good).

For Kirst and Matt and I created a photo gallery of memories for their day and a highlight film to capture some images in movement. I love a highlight film as a wedding add on to really make sure you have those smiles, laughs and hugs cemented in your memories for ever.
