An intimate London Town Hall ceremony at the Brydon Room in Chelsea on a sunny summer afternoon with Lara and Matt.
Combine London in the sunshine, with a wedding Ceremony at the iconic Chelsea Old Town Hall and champagne in a pub and you have the perfect was to tie the knot! For Lara and Matt, this was their official wedding ceremony before their big wedding a couple of months later and they got to celebrate with their closest friends and family.
Chelsea Old Town Hall is an grade II listed Victorian building that provides the perfect, photogenic backdrop for a wedding ceremony and the surrounding streets are perfectly picturesque.
Pause the photos - let's get some fizz!
Lara and Matt's day was on a heatwave. London was melting and it was sweaty. So in the middle of the shoot I suggested ducking into a beautiful Chelsea Pub for a quick fizzy refreshment. The candid nature of these photos became magic and I find, particularly nervous couples, that doing an activity (like drinking!) can really relax them to get those intimate, gorgeous, unposed pictures.
You can plan your day however you would like to. Include a drink, a pub stop or a round of min golf - get creative! I'm here for your ideas, what feels good and real in your relationship (my husband and I had an engagement shoot in an arcade and the pics are iconic).
